Strategies to Attract Success – Hot Tip 2

I talk with a lot of people who do not believe that they can do better than they currently are, they lack confidence in themselves and have settled for second best in life. Often the way that they see themselves is as they are right now, not as they want to be, not as they dream to be. They have squeezed themselves squarely inside the walls of their own little box and seldom venture out to see what is possible for them. Sometimes these people are doing well in one aspect of their lives but suffering in another. You know, one mans version of success might not be another’s, however in general terms, one must feel successful. And, it is hard to feel successful if you are not ok in the three main areas of your life.
Bob Davies of High Performance Training Inc. says that you must have the three key areas of your life (there is that rule of three again) in order; your health, personal life and business. So to get outside of the box that you have around yourself it will help to start with those three areas and the question – “How do I currently see myself in health, personal life and business?”. Followed closely by the question – “What do I want to have in those three areas?”.
If you understand that how you see yourself now might be limiting you, then you can start to see yourself how you want to be, achieving the things that you want to achieve and living the life of your dreams. If you want to attract success into your life, be the person that you want to be, do the things that you want to do and have the things that you want to have. And that may be a very different person than you currently are. In the words of John Lubbock, “what we see depends mainly on what we look for”. Thanks John, I could not have said it better.
Jim Rohn writes in 7 Strategies for Wealth and Happiness about his own experience that he had gradually accepted his own meager lot until he realised that something had to change. Jim was fortunate at that point to meet a successful person who mentored him and being a fast learner, Jim incorporated his mentors ideas into his life and prospered.
The secret to this hot tip is – see yourself how you want to be, not how you are and then there are many strategies to change your beliefs about yourself. You can then start the process of change by visualising yourself being, doing and having what you want and then accept it when it comes your way. You deserve it. Oh, and have fun.
