Get a Millionaire Mind
I just wanted to share with you the following which is an excerpt from the book of T. Harv Eker “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.” My colleague Marion Heryes recently posted a full blog on this and I was so imspired by her blog that I have chosen to offer this short peice. If you were to read nothing else, this would be worthwhile so go ahead and enjoy it:-
Place your hand on your heart and say the following declarations…
- My inner world creates my outer world.
- What I heard about money isn’t necessarily true. I choose to adopt new ways of thinking that support my happiness and success.
- What I modeled around money was their way. I choose my way.
- I release my non supportive money experiences from the past and create a new and rich future.
- I observe my thoughts and entertain only those that empower me.
- I create the exact level of my financial success!
- My goal is to become a millionaire and more!
- I commit to being rich.
- I think big! I choose to help thousands and thousands of people!
- I promote my value to others with passion and enthusiasm.
- I am an excellent receiver. I am open and willing to receive massive amounts of money into my life.
- I choose to get paid based on my results.
- I always think ‘both.’
- I focus on building my net worth!
- I am an excellent money manager.
- My money works hard for me and makes me more and more money.
- I am committed to constantly learning and growing.
Touch your head and say… “I have a millionaire mind!”

Connecting With a Personal Development Community
It is a fascinating process to be growing spiritually at the same time as starting up a new business or indeed doing anything at all that requires concentration, dedication and your time. Spiritual growth, at least for those of us who are not Masters, takes time and awareness. A sort of constant state of thinking about who and what you are being, doing and having.
I have often wondered if it is possible to experience leaps of personal growth while highly engaged with a job or other activity. Yet now, after 18 months of very intense personal development and having the time to put to that, I have taken over a business and am once again immersed in things other than concentrating being the highest being that I can be. Is it possible to do both?
Yes and yes. Delightfully, excitingly and energetically I now believe that anything is possible. I can have my business and personal development too.
This is a pleasing concept for me as I came to my new life 18 months ago after many years of demanding work during which I rarely had time to sleep let alone read Deepak Chopra or watch The Secret. For years the joy of such pastimes slipped right be my. Sure I was aware of the brouhaha surrounding The Secret and somewhere in the depths of my memory I recalled something about thought control and The Silva Method. But to actively pursue such concepts was beyond me at the time.
Now, though, it is the nectar of life to me. It is that which is the source of my energy and personal strength. I found that you simply take the time for what you want. If you want it enough you will choose to find the time. And I choose to extend my spiritual growth, every minute of every day. To create my path and to reach for my higher self.
And now for the tip, link up with like minded people, source the connections around you so that you place yourself with others who will support, encourage and nurture you. And enjoy the path to a life that you have made for yourself because the journey is not about the destination. It is about all of the fun along the way. And here is an online community that will do all of the things that I have just mentioned - iamconnected.com – go ahead and take a look. It just might be the community of support that you are looking for.
Networking For Fun
Having lived years of my life at the high end of corporate town, I have heard enough about networking to last me a lifetime – or so I thought until recently. You see, I am accustomed to networking events being those traumatising things that you go to, dredge up the courage to stroll up to someone and say g’day and then spend the rest of the time listening to them extol the virtues of this, or that or some other thing. Just generally putting on the spin. I apologise for this somewhat negative view, but even so, I have decided to let it stand. It does say something about my life then, in those days.
And how do I know – perhaps things have changed and corporate networking events have become easy for everyone.
Recently I joined up to an online networking experience that is a lot more fun. No more donning of the corporate attire, the sickly smile or the determined look of a warrior. No, this way I get to sit in my lovely home office and tool about other’s websites/blogsites and offer warm and genuine comments of encouragement. I can relax and send love across the miles:)
Well, that feels pretty nice and is enticing me to go on. And why, you may well ask? The reason is that these lovely folks come visit me back, they do kind and generous things to help to elevate my websites in the google-o-sphere and they generally lift my spirits. And as if that is not enough, it is a well known fact!!! Yessirreeee Bob, a scientific fact, that doing good deeds is good for your health and general well being.
So now, when I start up my hot IMac (love it you know) on a Sunday afternoon, and I go networking, I am lifting my spirits, feeling pretty damned good because I am doing something for another soul and excited about all of the visits that I can expect over the coming week. Oh and advancing my health and well being.
Hmm not too bad for a bit of fun. Doing good, attracting good, more good, good fun. Yep, that’l do me.
I have just one thing further to say on this subject Imaginif’s new Secret Santa Networking, SEO and Pay It Forward business just rocks!!! It truly does and if you are reading this and you are not a part of it then I can only say hop to it.
Happiness is a Holiday
No Leave, No Life, that is what you have when you work non-stop. There used to be a time when it went “All work and no play, makes Jack and dull boy”. Can you believe that Australians have hoarded 121 million days of annual leave? They must all feel like taking a holiday.
How can it be a happy and joyful thing to work non-stop, hoard your holidays for when? I wonder if there ever comes a time that it is sweet to take those holidays.
Australians are also able to cash out all of their annual leave except two weeks, leaving little opportunity for a happy holiday. So now it is possible to work constantly and receive cash instead of the lovely break of the good old days. Remember that time when families met up at the beach every year, year after year, to experience life in all of it’s glory.
I am here today to make it easy for you to dip into your pool of accumulated leave and join the “take leave, live life” group. Use the think, talk, act plan – the energy of thoughts, build the picture with words and take action.
That is, create your holiday and here are 4 easy steps to help you get your annual break organised:-
- Think about having a holiday, where you would like to go and what you would like to do
- Talk to people about doing it, who is coming with you and so on
- Take action, book your leave, book your holiday
- Then relax, enjoy the anticipation and get into the holiday attitude.
A final word to entice you away from your desk; people who spend some money on experiences rather than possessions are happier!! And is that not what life is about.
The Optimist Creed
According to Joe Vitale, “The Optimist Creed” was first published in 1912 in a book by Christian D Larson – Your Forces and How To Use Them. Optimist International use this creed, in a shortened version today. I am moved to publish it here and hope that you will join up with the group of people, worldwide who are intent on making a positive difference in the world.
Promise Yourself:
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, work only for the best, and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticise others.
To be too large to worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
Enjoy your optimism and share it with others.
